The Lookbook is a public page of your event presets. You send a client one link; they browse the designs you chose to show, personalise the wording, and send their pick back to you. Their full requirements reach you by email — no BoothBook integration, and no Pictor login for them.
Lookbook without BoothBook
This video gives an overview of how Lookbook works on its own, from sharing available presets with a client to receiving their selections back in Pictor.
01 . What the Lookbook is
What it does: Turns your event presets into a public gallery a client can browse and book from.
You already build event presets to reuse your own work. The Lookbook puts a chosen subset of them on a public page, under your company, and lets a client pick one for their event. Their choice comes back to you as a booking request.
Who it is for: Anyone who sends clients a list of designs to choose from and is tired of doing it by email.
The whole thing in four moves
-
Switch Show on lookbook on for the presets you want to offer.
-
Check the wording the client will see, in the preset's Global text.
-
Send them the link from Integrations.
-
They pick a design, fill in their wording, and submit. The request lands in your inbox.
Note
Event presets are a Pro feature, so the Lookbook is only useful on a plan that has them.
BoothBook is not involved. The Lookbook collects the booking and emails you the requirements by itself; it is a separate integration you do not have to set up for this. Using BoothBook? See How to Connect Pictor with BoothBook.
02 . Choose which presets a client can see
What it does: One switch per preset decides whether it appears in your Lookbook at all.
-
Go to Event presets in the side navigation.
-
Find the Show on lookbook column.
-
Switch it on for every preset you want clients to be able to choose.

The Show on lookbook switch. Only presets switched on here ever reach a client.
The change takes effect immediately — there is no publish step. Switch one off and it disappears from the Lookbook for anyone holding your link.
Tip
Keep the list short. A client choosing between three designs decides; a client choosing between fifteen asks you which one you would pick.
03 . Change the wording your client sees
What it does: Each field a client fills in has a label and a starting value, and both live on the preset as global texts.
This is the part that is not obvious from the Lookbook itself. Every field a client sees comes from a global text on the preset — a reusable snippet your template pulls in. The snippet's Label is what the field is called; its Text override is what the field starts out saying.
A preset you built already has sensible wording on it. You do not have to change anything. This section is here for when the default label does not read the way you would put it to a client.

START node → Global text. Also where global styles and booth behaviour live.

Label names the field for your client. Text override is the value it starts with.
Changing a label
-
Open the preset and go to Flow.
-
On the START node, press Global text.
-
Edit the Label, the Text override, or both.
-
Press Save, then Save Changes on the workflow.
Both fields are free text, so the wording is yours. Some operators keep the label short (Graduate name); others spell it out (Who is the graduation party for?). Either works — it is the same field underneath.
Careful
Change the Label and the Text override freely. Do not delete an entry you are still using — every text element in the template is mapped to it, and deleting it unmaps the design.
Note
Each preset has its own global texts. Rewording the Graduation preset does nothing to your Birthday or Wedding ones.
04 . Find your Lookbook link
What it does: One link, for your whole company.
-
Go to Integrations in the side navigation.
-
Open the Lookbook section.
-
Press Copy, or Open Lookbook to see it yourself.

Your Lookbook URL already carries your Company ID, so it opens your gallery for anyone who follows it.
The link does not change and does not expire. Send it as it is, or embed it on your website.
05 . What your client sees
What it does: Three steps, no login.
Step 1 — Theme
Your presets, as cards they can search and filter.

Select Your Theme. Only the presets you switched on appear here.
Step 2 — Customize
The design on the left, your fields on the right. What they type is what the booth will print.

Personalize Your Text. These labels are the preset's global texts .
Step 3 — Review
Their selections, plus their contact details and event date.

Review & Confirm. Name, email and event date are required; phone and notes are not.
06 . What comes back to you
What it does: The client gets a confirmation; you get an email with everything they chose.
Pressing Confirm Selections sends the request. The client sees a confirmation and the page returns to the start, ready for another booking.

“Thank you for your booking!” — what the client sees after submitting.
The request arrives by email
You get an email from Pictor titled Lookbook Booking. It carries everything the client entered, so you can act on it without opening the app.

The Lookbook Booking email. Contact details, the preset they picked, and every field they filled in.
| In the email | What it is |
|---|---|
| Name, Email, Phone | How to reach the client. Phone is only there if they gave one |
| Event Date | The date they picked on the Review step |
| Event Preset | Which of your designs they chose |
| Text Configuration | Every field, by its label, with the client's answer |
The labels in Text Configuration are the ones you set — so clear labels make the email easier to read, not just the form.
Note
This is the Lookbook on its own. The email carries the client's full requirements — who they are, when the event is, which design they chose and every answer they typed — without BoothBook set up. Switching the Lookbook on in Integrations is the only thing needed.
07 . Common questions
A preset is missing from the Lookbook
Check Show on lookbook on that row in Event presets. That switch is the only thing that decides it.
The client sees the wrong wording
The labels come from the preset's global texts, not from the Lookbook. Edit them on the START node .
I reworded a label and nothing changed
Saving the Global text dialog is not enough on its own — press Save Changes on the workflow afterwards.
Can I have more than one Lookbook?
No. There is one per company. Control what each client sees with the switches, or send them to a specific design yourself.
Does the client need a Pictor account?
No. The link carries your Company ID and opens straight onto your gallery.
