The slideshow is a live photo wall. Put it on a screen at your venue and guests' photos appear as they are taken.
Note - Slideshow makes an event Pro.
Turn it on
-
Open your event and click the Output tab.
-
Expand Slideshow and switch it on.
-
Click Copy slideshow link.
-
Open that link in a browser on the screen you are using.
Tip - Open it in full screen and disable the machine's sleep and screensaver settings. A slideshow that goes black an hour in is the most common complaint about this feature.

The grid, the look, and what appears on it.
Set up the grid
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Grid columns / Grid rows | How many photos are on screen at once |
| Grid refresh duration | Seconds between each media refresh |
| Image size | Contain shows the whole photo; Cover fills the tile and crops |
Important - Maximum visible images: 50. Pictor shows a running Total visible images count as you change the grid — keep it at or under 50.
Tip - Fewer, larger tiles read better across a room. A 4×3 grid on a big screen beats an 8×6 that nobody can make out from the bar.
Choose what appears
Media types — pick Motion, Static, or both.
Tip - If your event captures GIFs and video, a motion wall draws far more attention. If the screen is near a dinner service, stills are less distracting.
Brand it
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Background color | The colour behind the grid |
| Slideshow background image | An image behind the grid |
| Slideshow header image | A logo or header across the top |
Adverts
You can put sponsor or client content into the slideshow, in two ways.
In the grid — an ad takes a tile.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Grid ad media | The images to use. They appear at random |
| Grid ad refresh | How many photos show between ads |
| Grid ad duration | The ad stays until it is replaced |
Full screen — an ad takes the whole screen.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Full screen ad media | The image to show |
| Full screen ad interval | Minutes between full screen ads |
| Full screen ad duration | Seconds each one stays up |
Important - The two work in different units. Grid ad refresh counts photos; Full screen ad interval counts minutes.

Grid ads take a tile; full screen ads take the room.
Tip - Full-screen ads are effective and quickly become annoying. Every few minutes is plenty.
Before the event
Open the slideshow link on the actual screen and leave it running for ten minutes while you take test photos. You are checking three things: that photos appear, that the grid is readable from a distance, and that the machine does not sleep.
