Who it's for: You want to control which phone country codes guests can pick — e.g., restrict to USA only, or pre-select the local country for an international event.

What it does: Customize which country codes appear in the phone-number entry dropdown — restrict the list to exactly the countries you want, whether that's a single country or several — and choose which one is pre-selected. Restricting to a single country (e.g., US +1) removes the need for guests to search a long list — and prevents mistyped foreign codes.

Steps

  1. Open your event in the Event Editor.
  2. Go to Workflow → Share Output → SMS settings.
  3. Find the Limit country codes setting.
  4. Select which countries should be shown to guests — pick just one (e.g., only United States (+1)) or multiple countries (e.g., US, Canada, and Mexico for a cross-border event).
  5. Set the Default country code guests should see pre-selected.
  6. Save your event.

Tips

  • For US-only events, showing only +1 effectively restricts texting to US numbers.
  • For destination or multi-country events, keep several countries in the list and pre-select the host country to save guests a step.
