The Paywall Workflow lets you collect payments directly in your photo booth using a QR code and Stripe Checkout if you have a Pro or Premium plan.
Ideal for events where they request a pay-per-print option, restaurants, event venues, and similar businesses - it enables automated, self-service monetization for every photo session.
Step-by-Step Setup
Create an Event
Log in to your Pictor account.
Create a new Advanced Event.
Open the Workflow tab.
Add the Paywall Stage
Click the Plus (+) icon in your workflow.
Select Paywall from the list.
Connect Your Stripe Account
Click Connect Stripe inside the Paywall section.
You’ll be prompted to log in or create an account.
⚠️ The Stripe account must use the same email as your Pictor account.
Once connected, your Stripe account will appear as Connected.
Set Your Price
Enter the price guests will pay per session.
Note the standard Paywall fees:
Pro plan: 10% fee
Premium plan: 5% fee
The remainder goes directly to your Stripe account.
Finalize Workflow & Launch
Add remaining workflow stages (e.g., Capture → Print → Share).
Save your event.
Launch it on your iPad or mobile device.
A unique QR code will appear for guests to scan.
Guest Experience
The guest approaches the iPad booth.
They scan the displayed QR code using their phone.
Stripe Checkout opens → they complete payment.
Once successful, the booth automatically continues to the next step.
