Guests love print outs of their Pictor generated photos, so let's jump into the best way to get guests their prints!

DNP Hot Folder

This utility is a simple and easy way to get guest's images into their hands.

You'll need:

  • A Windows-based computer (a Surface Pro works well for this) or Mac

  • A DNP printer (DS620 and RX1 are popular DNP models)

  • The DNP Hot Folder program

These are the items you'll need on the printer-side.

Setting up Pictor to Print

There are a few adjustments you'll need to make within Pictor.

  • Connect your Pictor account with Dropbox

  • On your computer (not iPad or iPhone), open DNP Hot Folder

  • Point DNP Hot Folder to watch the your Pictor event folder located in /Apps/Pictor/ and the name of your event

  • Ensure the DNP Hot Folder has the correct size media selected

  • Once you start taking pictures within Pictor, they'll save to your Dropbox and automatically print on your DNP

That's it! If you have any questions, please reach out to our chat or [email protected]
