Pictor supports direct printing from both the web app and the iPad app. This guide explains how to enable printing, adjust settings, and send images to your print partner.
Enabling Printing
To get started, open the event you’d like to work with and go into the printer section of the app. From the Output menu, choose Printing. Once this option is enabled, the printer will automatically connect. Don’t forget to save your settings so they apply to the event’s gallery.
Printing from the Gallery
When you open the gallery, select an image and choose Print. Depending on your configuration:
If the Save option is turned on, the image will first be saved before sending to the printer.
If the Save option is off, the image will go directly into the printer queue.
Printer Options
You can configure details such as:
The printer you’d like to use.
Paper size.
Advanced Settings
Some printer settings are password protected. For example, enabling or disabling the cutter requires entering your iOS password. Once confirmed and saved, these preferences remain active for future print jobs.
Summary
Printing in Pictor allows you to easily connect a printer, adjust key settings like paper size and cutting, and send images directly from your event gallery. With locally saved preferences and advanced customization options, the printing process is straightforward and reliable.
