### **Hiding a template**

You can take a template out of the guest's view without deleting it.

1. Open your event and click the **Flow** tab.

2. Open the **Choose Experience** stage.

3. Find the template and switch **Visible** off.

Guests no longer see it. Everything about it is kept, and you can switch it back on at any time.

#### **Hide, remove, or delete?**

| **Action**            | **What happens**                                               |

| **Visible** off       | Guests do not see it. It stays on the event and stays editable |
| **Remove from stage** | Taken off this event. The template itself still exists         |
| **Delete**            | Gone permanently                                               |

Switch **Visible** off when a client is deciding between versions, or when a design belongs to a later part of the day. Use **Remove from stage** for a template that belongs to a different event.

Past captures are unaffected either way, and there is no limit on how many you hide.

### **Backgrounds for different devices**

Your Sharing Station can show a different background depending on the screen it is running on, so a wide image is not cropped to nothing on a phone.

1. Open your event and click **Output**.

2. Expand **Sharing Station** and find **Background media**.

3. Fill in the slots you need: **Default**, **Desktop**, **Tablet** and **Mobile**.

Any slot you leave empty falls back — first to **Default**, and if that is empty, to whichever other slot you have filled. Setting one slot is enough to give every device a background.

You can use a video here as well as an image.

#### **What counts as each device**

| **Slot**    | **Screen width** |
| ----------- | ---------------- |
| **Mobile**  | Below 640px      |
| **Tablet**  | 640–1023px       |
| **Desktop** | 1024px and above |

#### **Composing each one**

| **Slot**    | **Aim for**                                                      |
| ----------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Mobile**  | A 9:16 composition, with branding centred and in the upper third |
| **Tablet**  | 4:3 or 3:2, usually landscape                                    |
| **Desktop** | 16:9 or wider                                                    |

Keep the same colours across all three. The layouts differ; the identity should not.

### **The event background**

The event's own background, on the **Styles** tab, is a single **Media** slot plus a **Background Color**. The colour is used when no media is set. Per-device slots are a Sharing Station feature.
