### **How licensing works**

Your **subscription** is what you pay for monthly. Each **event** also needs a licence, and its tier is worked out from the features that event uses — you do not pick it.

Switch on a Pro feature and the event needs a Pro licence. Switch on a Premium feature and it needs a Premium one. An event always needs the tier of its highest feature.

**Tip -** Before choosing a plan, look at **Plans and features** and check which triggers your typical event would hit. It is a more reliable guide than the plan names.

### **Tokens**

Tokens are separate from your subscription and cover AI processing. Outputs without AI do not use them.

**Tip -** Check your token balance before an event, not during one.

### **Changing plan**

Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your billing period. Both are under **Billing**.

### **Is Pictor right for a personal project?**

Yes. Nothing about Pictor requires you to be running a business — a wedding, a birthday or a reunion works the same way a corporate activation does, and the Basic plan covers stills, GIFs, boomerangs and video.

Two things worth knowing before you buy for a one-off:

* Licences are per **device**, so a single booth needs a single licence.

* AI features spend **tokens** on top of the licence. Check **Pricing plans** for what a run costs.
