The **Security** page holds two things: a company-wide passcode for guest-facing pages, and your own account password.

### **Company event passcode**

**What it does:** One code that opens the guest-facing pages of every event on your account — galleries, slideshows and shared reports.

#### **Steps**

1. Open the user menu and choose **Security**.

2. Type a code into **Passcode**. Up to 15 characters.

3. Click save. You will see *"Company passcode saved."*

Leaving the field empty means there is no company passcode. Clearing an existing one removes it.

#### **How it works with an event's own passcode**

**This is the part worth understanding.**

Each event can have its own passcode, set on the **Event** tab. A company passcode works alongside it and changes two things.

**On events that already have a passcode** — guests can now get in with **either** code. Your company passcode opens every one of them, including events you locked deliberately for a particular client.

**On events with no passcode** — they become locked. Pages that anyone with the link could open will start asking for the company passcode.

**Important -** Setting a company passcode changes access on **every event on your account**, in both directions. Check which of your events are currently open before you set one — any gallery link you have already sent out will start asking for a code.

**Tip -** Use it when all your galleries serve the same audience — one internal team, or a single long-running client.

**Important -** Avoid it if you run events for clients who should not see each other's galleries. It gives each of them a code that opens the others.

**Tip -** To lock a single event, set a passcode on that event instead. The company passcode is an account-wide switch, not a per-event one.

### **Change your password**

You can also change your password from **Profile**.

#### **Steps**

1. Enter your **Current password**.

2. Enter a **New password**, then **Confirm new password**.

3. Click **Update password**.

You stay logged in afterwards.
