## 

The **Flow** tab is where you build the guest journey — the screens someone moves through from walking up to the booth to receiving their photo.

### **How to open it**

1. Go to **Events**.

2. Find your event and click **Edit & Launch**.

3. Click the **Flow** tab.

### **What you start with**

Every new event already has a working journey:

**Media Screen → Choose Experience → Run Experience → Preview Output**

If that does what you need, leave it alone.

### **Reading the canvas**

The canvas runs top to bottom, from **Start** to **End**. The lines between cards are the path the booth takes.

**Start card** — settings that apply to the whole journey. **Stage cards** — one per screen, each with a row of icons. **End card** — where the journey finishes.

### **Adding a stage**

Click the **+** on the line between two cards, then pick a stage type.

**Important -** The **+** adds the stage at that exact point. A **+** inside a branch adds to the branch, not to the main path.

The picker tells you three things about each stage before you add it:

| **What you see**                     | **What it means**                                                                   |
| ------------------------------------ | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **PRO** or **PREMIUM** badge         | Adding this stage raises the event to that licence tier                             |
| **BRANCHING** badge                  | This stage can send guests down different paths                                     |
| **Already on this path**, greyed out | The stage is already on the route the **+** sits on, so you cannot add a second one |

Search by name if the list is long.

### **Reordering, editing and removing a stage**

Use the buttons on the stage card.

| **Button**                              | **What it does**                         |
| --------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------- |
| **Move stage up** / **Move stage down** | The arrows. This is how you reorder      |
| **Edit stage**                          | The pencil — opens the content editor    |
| **Styles**                              | The palette — styles this stage only     |
| **Load template**                       | Load saved content into this stage       |
| **Save template**                       | Save this stage's content for reuse      |
| **Remove**                              | The bin. The cards either side reconnect |

**Important -** Reorder with the arrows. Dragging a card does not move it in the journey.

**Note -** Not every stage has every button. Some stages cannot be removed, so they have no bin.

### **The stage types**

| **Stage**              | **What it does**                                                |
| ---------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Media Screen**       | Show an image or video splash, optionally gated by a touch      |
| **Choose Experience**  | Offer templates; each can lead to a different path              |
| **Run Experience**     | Capture photo / video using the chosen template                 |
| **Preview Output**     | Let the user preview the generated output                       |
| **On Screen Delivery** | Wait on screen while output is prepared, then deliver           |
| **Share Output**       | Capture email / SMS to deliver the output                       |
| **Print**              | Send the output to a printer                                    |
| **Text Screen**        | A simple text screen with a continue button                     |
| **Survey**             | Collect answers. Multi-experience mode branches on the response |
| **Terms of Service**   | Display legal text with agree / disagree                        |
| **QR Code Scanner**    | Prefill fields by scanning a QR code                            |
| **AI Settings**        | Configure the AI experience                                     |
| **External**           | Open an external URL (redirect or modal)                        |
| **Webhook**            | Send data to an external endpoint                               |
| **Paywall**            | Charge before continuing                                        |

**Note -** Templates are chosen on **Choose Experience**, not on Run Experience. Run Experience uses whichever template the guest picked.

### **Media Screen options**

The most-used stage. Open it with the **pencil**.

| **In modal media**                                    | An image or video inside the card. **Upload Image** accepts PNG, JPG or GIF up to 10MB |
| **Tap to move**                                       | Guests advance by tapping. Off means it advances on its own                            |
| **Tap-to-move text**                                  | The prompt shown when Tap to move is on                                                |
| **Auto-advance after (seconds)**                      | How long before it moves on by itself                                                  |
| **Show continue button**                              | Adds an explicit button                                                                |
| **Show gallery button**                               | Adds a link to the gallery                                                             |
| **Hide timeout timer**                                | Hides the countdown                                                                    |
| **Layout**, **Text position**, **Body text position** | How the content is arranged                                                            |

### **The Start card**

Six actions that apply to the whole journey.

| **Global text**            | Reusable text you can insert anywhere and update in one place |
| **Booth behavior**         | What the booth does when a guest walks away mid-session       |
| **Load workflow template** | Replace this journey with a saved one                         |
| **Save workflow template** | Save this journey for reuse on other events                   |
| **Test preview**           | Saves, then opens the booth in a new tab                      |

**Important - Load workflow template** replaces the whole journey. Save the current one first if you might want it back.

**Tip -** Build your standard journey once, save it as a workflow template, and load it on every new event.

### **Branching**

A stage showing the **Can branch** badge can lead to different next stages depending on what the guest does.

1. Click **Add branch** on the stage.

2. Drag the new branch's endpoint onto the stage it should lead to.

3. Save.

**Important -** A branch with no destination is an error and will stop you saving.

### **Warnings and errors**

The builder checks the journey. A chip top right counts what it found — *"1 issue(s) to review"* — with the detail in a banner beneath the heading and a warning triangle on the stage responsible.

**Errors stop you saving. Warnings do not.**

A brand-new event arrives with one warning already showing:

> WARNING: "Choose Experience" has no templates.

That is expected — the picker is in the journey, but you have not chosen which templates it offers yet.

### **The preview panel**

The panel beside the canvas runs the real booth, so you can walk the journey without publishing anything.

| **Dimensions** | Switch between device sizes, for example Mobile Vertical |
| **Restart**    | Run again from the first screen                          |
| **Eye**        | Hide or show the preview                                 |

**Tip -** Check the journey at phone size as well as tablet. Guests using the virtual booth are all on phones.

### **Testing before the event**

Two ways:

* **Test preview** on the Start card — saves, then opens the booth in a new tab.

* **Simulation test** on the **Launchpad** tab — walks the whole journey including delivery.
